The geometry does a lot of the work here. A 10-degree offset angle sets up a clean catch and maximises efficiency through the power phase, while a slight dihedral on the powerface keeps forward strokes stable and flutter-free even when you're pushing hard. The low-profile backface spine allows smooth vertical turning and correction strokes when precision matters, and a rounded blade tip handles the occasional rock encounter on shallow river bottoms without damage.
