Small in scale, grand in presence. This Wedgwood Blue Jasperware Creamer / Mini Pitcher, dated 1963 and made in England, is the kind of piece that stops you mid-shelf.
White relief decorations wrap all the way around the body and onto the spout — neoclassical figures and motifs in the tradition Wedgwood has maintained since 1774. The exterior wears the signature powdery blue unglazed stoneware that collectors have prized for generations. Stamped on the bottom: "Wedgwood, Made in England," along with '63 and 2½.
Originally a creamer, it makes an equally lovely bud vase, a display piece in a curio cabinet, or part of a gathered Jasperware collection on a shelf.
