Changing Station 2.0

This compact set is perfect for changing baby on the go! The attractive wallet-style clutch unfolds to access a large, padded changing pad and pockets to store all the essentials. The extra-large baby changing pad is fully padded to provide comfort for your little one. The pad removes for easy laundering or to allow the clutch to be used separately. The pattern includes instructions for using PUL (polyurethane laminate) fabric to make a pad with a wipe-clean lining. An outer zippered pocket on the clutch holds personal items and a handy flap closes the folded clutch, keeping everything contained and easily accessible. Drop it in any bag, strap it to your wrist, or clip it to your stroller and you're good to go. The finished Clutch measures 7¼""H x 11½""W x 2""D closed and 15½""H x 11½""W when open. The Changing Pad opens to 22"" x 22"" and easily folds to fit inside the folded Clutch. NOTE TO SHOP OWNERS: Changing Station 2.0 is an update of our popular Changing Station pattern which was originally released in 2016. The new 2.0 version doesn’t change the design of the clutch or pad, but a number of changes have been made. In addition to improving the illustrations, we updated the instructions to make assembly easier and simplified the process of binding the Flap. We also filmed an Add-on Video to help you and your customers with the more unique or challenging aspects of the pattern. Since the Changing Station 2.0 pattern includes a coupon to get the Add-On Video at no charge, we would recommend that customers purchase the new and improved version of the pattern. CLASS INFO: Changing Station 2.0 makes a great class for all levels of sewists, from beginners to more advanced makers. We'd suggest two half-day classes or one full-day class for this project. If you split it into two classes, we'd suggest that you cover Steps II and III in the first class, covering preparation of the various components of the Clutch (zipper, binding, straps, pockets, and flap). Students can finish the components and return to complete Steps IV and V to assemble the Clutch and make the Changing Pad in the second class. We recommend that students read the pattern and watch the Add-on Videos before coming to class. They should also come to class with their fabric quilted and everything cut out and labeled for their project. So, they should complete all of step I.
